Gothenburg Taekwon-Do Club was founded in 1978 by Master C.J Armstrong. The club was the first Taekwon-Do club in Gothenburg and is situated near Ullevi Stadium, close to the city center. The club holds classes four times a week. The classes are conducted by Master Armstrong and his assistent instructors and span a broad range of areas within the original Taekwon-Do founded by General Choi Hong Hi. Classes focus on fundamental exercises, patterns, self defense and sparring.

In addition to the regular classes the club holds training camps, competitions, and seminars. Gothenburg Taekwon-Do Club is a member of the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) and the Swedish Taekwondoassosiation (STF).
